Christoph Swoboda has worked in Brussels for 16 years, including 14 years in the field of financial market regulation. After studying law with a focus on European law at the University of Vienna, he worked in the European Parliament and the Austrian National Council. He then set up the representative office of a Central and Eastern European banking group in Brussels and headed the management secretariat of a specialist bank for infrastructure and energy financing in Vienna. For 4 years, Christoph Swoboda worked for an internationally active consulting firm, advising financial clients from the USA and Europe. In April 2015 he took over the management of the Brussels office of BVI.
